Who we are

Guided by purpose, grounded in community

Our mission, vision, and values are not words on a wall. They are the living commitments that shape every relationship, every decision, and every day at Noxara Health.

Our mission

To walk alongside

Noxara Health Inc. exists to provide compassionate, culturally safe support services that empower Indigenous individuals, families, and people with diverse needs to live with dignity, independence, and belonging.

We meet people where they are — in their homes, their communities, and their lives — and we walk alongside them with respect, patience, and genuine care.

Our vision

A community where everyone belongs

We envision an Alberta where every person — regardless of background, ability, or circumstance — has access to support that honours who they are and helps them thrive.

We are building toward a future where culturally safe care is not the exception, but the standard.

What guides us

Our core values

Cultural safety

We honour the identities, traditions, and languages of the people we serve. Cultural safety is not a checkbox — it is the foundation of everything we do.

Dignity and respect

Every person we support is treated with unconditional dignity. We listen first, and we never make assumptions about what someone needs.

Empowerment

Our role is to walk alongside, not to lead. We support people to build confidence, independence, and self-determination on their own terms.

Community

We believe in the strength of community — Indigenous and otherwise. We build relationships that extend beyond service delivery into genuine belonging.

Accountability

We hold ourselves to the highest standards of care, transparency, and professional practice — because the people we serve deserve nothing less.

Continuous learning

We are committed to growing — deepening our cultural knowledge, improving our practice, and listening to the communities we serve.

Our commitment to reconciliation

Noxara Health Inc. operates on Treaty 6 Territory and the Homeland of the Métis Nation. We acknowledge this with gratitude and with a commitment to meaningful reconciliation — not as a statement, but as an ongoing practice.

This means hiring from within Indigenous communities, building services that reflect Indigenous ways of knowing and being, and listening deeply to the people and communities we serve.
